On-Call Public Relations and Outreach Assistance

The goal of the program was to increase Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG) visibility in the community, and improve public awareness and involvement in planning activities. TRC prepared items generally associated with media outreach – press releases, editorials, press conferences, advertisements for media outlets and organizing public meetings.

Additionally, TRC coordinated the Transit Unmet Needs public hearing / campaign and the transit guide, which is released on a semi-annual basis.

TRC’s graphic team provided formatting, editing and layout assistance for TCAG’s Transit Guide. The task included revising passenger transit maps; soliciting ads from local agencies and formatting ads for placement; and coordinating printing of the final product.

For the public hearing, TRC coordinated media buys and public hearing notifications.
