Patterson Municipal Landfill Redevelopment to Solar Power
Working closely with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, TRC obtained approval to construct solar arrays through two phases of installations on the site. Our leadership of the environmental permitting effort included completion of the design, obtaining approval and complete construction oversight.
ABB Solar Facility: Engineering, Procurement and Construction
Solar Construction Solutions from design to interconnection. When ABB wanted to showcase their products within the United States by installing a 1.29 MW ground mounted solar system at their Belton, South Carolina facility, the company turned to TRC for help under a compressed timeline.
Block Island Offshore Wind Farm – Electrical System Impact Study
Our work required very specific modeling and confidentiality agreements with vendors, both for proprietary reasons and because the 6 MW turbines were the first of this size in the world and had not yet been tested. Working closely with National Grid and the turbine vendor, we recommended adjustments to accommodate ground bank sizing and that over voltages could be minimized within surge ratings.
