WINDSOR, Conn. – TRC Companies, a digitally powered and environmentally focused global firm and the Marvel Power Group (“Marvel”) a San Francisco-based clean energy advisory platform, have teamed up to offer a full suite of development and off-take contracting services to the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) industry. As the market focuses on alternate energy sources and seeks near-term, commercialized solutions, the joint companies see an opportunity to accelerate the pace of project growth and actualization.

“With over 25 years of experience supporting landfill biogas and RNG solutions, TRC is excited to witness and participate in the unprecedented growth and interest in the biogas sector,” said Mark Johnson, TRC’s Director of Power Generation Business Development. “Combining forces with Marvel helps our joint team to turn RNG project ideas into actionable, near-term realities.”

As the biogas market expands to include direct participation by feedstock owners like landfill operators, food processors and farmers, on-demand services are required to support cohesive project management and execution. The joint solution offered by TRC and Marvel leverages expertise from all disciplines required to execute an RNG project from start to finish, beginning with early evaluation of project feasibility, all the way to revenue contracting and successful commissioning. With this cohesive approach, the collaboration seeks to streamline project development for new and existing market participants.

“It is an honor to team up with TRC to support our clients’ holistic needs,” said Katherine Ryzhaya, Marvel’s CEO. “Biofuels are a game-changer in the race to Net Zero. Until now, there was no one-stop-shop for RNG project actualization, where engineering and construction services were offered in conjunction with financing and off-take support. We are bringing a very unique, timely offering to a rapidly expanding market.”
