Elizabeth Denly, Vice President, PFAS Initiative Leader & Chemistry Director and Jeff Ramey, Principal Chemist will present on PFAS Sampling & Analytical Procedures: Understanding the Challenges and Collecting the Most Representative Data.

  • Sampling & analytical challenges associated with wastewater and biosolids, especially under the current National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System(NPDES)/ State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) guidance

  • How to deal with surface water, wastewater, and groundwater with elevated turbidity or total suspended solids and how these parameters can affect the ultimate PFAS result

  • Lessons learned with false positive results for perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS)
