Industrial Hygiene Program Evaluation & Development
- Peer review and gap analysis of existing programs.
- Preparation of site-specific programs such as chemical hygiene, confined space, hearing conservation, lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment and respiratory protection.
- Chemical and raw material usage review.
- Development of priority chemicals of concern sampling strategies.
Job Hazard Surveys
- Focuses on identifying and controlling high hazard processes and areas as a priority to improving safety
- Leads to the development of safe work practices and procedures
Industrial Hygiene Assessments/Exposure Monitoring
- Evaluating worker exposures to respiratory hazards (dusts, fumes, vapors, gases) heat and noise.
- Utilize real-time instrumentation to identify root causes of employee exposures.
- Addresses controls through engineering design, administrative change, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Indoor air quality assessments and investigations
Indoor Air Quality Assessments & Investigations
- Mechanical hygiene assessments of processing area ventilation system(s)
- Evaluating the adequacy of existing air handling units and/or local exhaust ventilation
- Local exhaust ventilation assessment including duct air velocity and flow measurements
- Legionella risk assessments
