WINDSOR, Conn. – TRC Companies has named Ed Myszka as its Power Sector President. Myszka brings with him over 30 years of general management, technology innovation, market development and operations experience to TRC, a top engineering and construction management firm.

Myszka joins TRC from Honeywell where he was the Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell’s Smart Energy (SME) business, which operated in over 130 countries and served over 1,000 utility clients. Before his time at Honeywell, Myszka was a General Manager at General Electric, where he was responsible for the Industrial Communications, Advanced Metering and Utility Software business units. Myszka has also served as President and CEO of Elster Solutions and was a member of the Group Executive Board responsible for providing advanced metering solutions to the gas, water and electric utility industry.

Jim Mayer, formerly the President, Power Sector, will remain with TRC in an executive leadership role, supporting numerous strategic objectives across TRC. Mayer has been instrumental in the growth of TRC and has been a strong force for the Power Sector.
