CDP is a not-for-profit entity that provides a global disclosure system for investors, companies and cities to publicly disclose their climate governance systems, risks and opportunities, strategies and associated metrics and targets.
CDP’s annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognized as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. TRC’s score places the company in the top 17 percent of professional services companies. TRC also received achieved an A- for Supplier Engagement from CDP, placing us in the Leadership band for both categories.
TRC’s ratings were based in part on the following actions in fiscal year 2023:
- Purchased 100 percent renewable energy for ~150 offices and reduced Scope 1 + Scope 2 emissions by 24 percent year over year.
- Measured and verified Scope 3 emissions and engaged with both direct and indirect suppliers on climate change performance.
- Achieved a 17 percent year-over-year increase in climate-related solutions revenue, with 64% of our gross revenue derived from climate solutions (e.g., energy efficiency, clean transportation, electrification of vehicles and buildings, renewables integration, fuel switching, and carbon capture and storage).
