American Oil and Gas Reporter interviewed TRC’s Charles Venditti, Pipeline Integrity Manager and President of the Indiana Oil & Gas Association (INOGA), to gain insight into the current state of the oil and natural gas industry as well as the most recent regulatory changes.
In the article, Charles notes that while companies continue to confront the same challenges with federal regulations, INOGA has spent much of 2023 focused on State level regulations.
Charles also addresses carbon dioxide (CO2) injection, which has become both a federal and state level issue. He reports that while Indiana is developing rules for CO2 injection wells, there is currently no regulatory primacy for oversight, allowing the U.S. EPA to continue to run the CO2 injection program.
