TRC is providing outreach services to the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) for the I-15 Express Lanes Project, a design-build project.
RCTC, in partnership with Caltrans District 8, is improving the I-15 between Cajalco Road and State Route 60 (SR-60). The project will add two tolled express lanes in each direction on the I-15 between Cajalco Road and SR-60, nearly 15 miles. An enhanced feature of this project is that motorists will be able to access and exit the tolled facility at multiple locations. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2018 with tolled express lanes expected to open in 2020.
TRC is part of the Parsons Project Construction Management (PCM) team and is responsible for expanding on project messaging and enhancing collateral materials, including project fact sheets and FAQs, project boards, and project maps. With the project, currently in the design phase, TRC is conducting ascertainments with key stakeholders to gather feedback critical to the project’s final design and construction. Upon commencement of construction, the outreach team will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are communicated to the public and maintaining support for the project.
