Marin Clean Energy Storage Program

 

TRC is the program coordinator on this project, overseeing vendor/ally management and systems integration for 10+ MWh of customer-sited storage throughout a four-county service area over a two-year period.

The program will support resilience for customers during power shut offs, decarbonization and local grid management using load shaping and shifting. It allows MCE the option to participate in the CAISO market.

The project leverages a flexible, scalable model to support market evolution, provides support for low-income and other vulnerable populations and reduces up-front customer costs through incentives and an innovative financing approach.
