- This instructor-led course is delivered in our training substation in Lancaster,
- This is not a “sit in your seat” lecture class; it is designed as hands-on training for you to gain confidence in performing commissioning tasks in a safe, controlled
- Much of the course is focused on hands-on learning; students will perform the steps for circuit commissioning using custom-designed commissioning boxes and our training power substation, with oversight and guidance from instructors.
PREREQUISITES
- Basic understanding of power system protection theory and application
- Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits and terminology
- Experience reading and interpreting substation electrical schematics and drawings
