Basics of Microprocessor Relays provides theoretical and hands-on training in the application of protective relay systems, microprocessor relay Boolean logic and operators, SEL-based logic and settings, and relay test equipment and their software.

PREREQUISITES

  • Basic understanding of power system protection theory and application
  • Working knowledge of three-phase AC power systems and terminology
  • Experience reading and interpreting substation electrical schematics and drawings
