WINDSOR, Conn. – TRC Companies, Inc. (TRC), a global professional services firm providing integrated strategy, consulting, engineering and applied technologies in support of the energy transition, announced that Ed Salazar, PE, has joined the company as Vice President of Construction Services and Quality Management.
Salazar brings more than 35 years of experience in quality management, having led many engineering and inspection teams across large-scale infrastructure projects. He has implemented quality-focused processes for roads, bridges, airports, ports and buildings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifications and design intent. Salazar has worked extensively with Caltrans, Los Angeles Metro (LACMTA), Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District (GGB), and the Division of the State Architect (DSA).
Salazar has managed many notable projects, including the Caltrans Statewide Structural Materials and Quality Assurance Contract, LA Metro 10/110 Express Lanes CM Contract, Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Independent Quality Assurance (IQA) Contract, LaGuardia Airport Quality Management Contract, and program and construction management contracts with LAWA and Los Angeles County Public Works (LACPW).
In his role at TRC, Salazar will manage operations and drive business development for source inspection in California and Western U.S., in addition to working closely with TRC’s Construction Management and Construction Inspection teams.
