\nA Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Board-Certified Environmental Scientist (BCES), Hoffnagle is widely regarded as one of the foremost experts in air quality modeling, meteorology and permitting. His groundbreaking work in meteorological modeling for complex terrains and Class I area air quality analysis has set the standard for the industry.<\/p>\n

\nThroughout his career, Hoffnagle has been described by colleagues as \u201cone of the giants in his field,\u201d known for his technical clarity, steady judgment and unwavering integrity. His leadership roles include serving as President of the Air & Waste Management Association, the Association of Certified Meteorologists and the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering.<\/p>\n

\nHoffnagle\u2019s dedication to education and innovation has earned him numerous accolades, including the Lyman A. Ripperton Award for contributions to environmental education – the only non-professor to receive this honor.<\/p>\n
