Tous les appareils et utilisations de combustibles fossiles devront \u00eatre remplac\u00e9s par d\u2019autres technologies, y compris les pompes \u00e0 chaleur et les po\u00eales \u00e0 induction. La loi ne s\u2019applique pas aux b\u00e2timents existants et peut inclure des exemptions pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs d\u2019urgence, les h\u00f4pitaux, les cuisines commerciales et d\u2019autres charges sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es. La loi soutient les objectifs de New York d\u2019atteindre z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission nette dans le secteur de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 d\u2019ici 2040.   <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.americancityandcounty.com\/2023\/09\/12\/leaders-fossil-fuels-ban\/\">La Californie<\/a> prend \u00e9galement des mesures pour r\u00e9glementer l\u2019utilisation du gaz naturel, bien qu\u2019au niveau des comt\u00e9s et des municipalit\u00e9s. Soixante-dix villes, dont Los Angeles et Berkeley, cherchent \u00e0 interdire les appareils au gaz naturel et la tuyauterie dans la construction de nouveaux b\u00e2timents, y compris les restaurants. Avec des objectifs ambitieux en mati\u00e8re de climat et de d\u00e9carbonisation, y compris un objectif au niveau de l\u2019\u00c9tat de 100% d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 propre d\u2019ici 2045, la pression pour les appareils \u00e9lectriques en Californie r\u00e9duirait consid\u00e9rablement les \u00e9missions au fil du temps.
