Le choix des capteurs d\u00e9pend des objectifs et des exigences sp\u00e9cifiques de la mission de surveillance. Plusieurs plates-formes d\u2019UAV sont actuellement utilis\u00e9es pour la surveillance des HCB, les deux plus courantes \u00e9tant les UAV \u00e0 voilure fixe et les UAV de giravions. Les UAV \u00e0 voilure fixe sont les meilleurs pour les AHB qui affectent des \u00e9tendues spatiales plus grandes en raison de facteurs a\u00e9rodynamiques qui prolongent leur temps de vol. Les UAV de giravions sont avantageux pour une collecte \u00e0 plus haute r\u00e9solution en raison de leur maniabilit\u00e9.   <\/p>\n<p>Une fois qu\u2019une plate-forme d\u2019UAV appropri\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e, des capteurs sp\u00e9cifiques au projet devraient \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9s. Les capacit\u00e9s des capteurs r\u00e9gissent le type d\u2019information qui peut \u00eatre recueilli et la pr\u00e9cision des donn\u00e9es.
