2020 seemed to be full of promise. How could you not be optimistic about a year that shared the number associated with perfect vision? But things changed rapidly as our understanding of COVID-19 developed. Instead of the clarity that the new year promised, uncertainty prevailed as governments around the globe took steps to contain the pandemic. Many of us in the environment, health, and safety (EH&S) profession have been classified as \u201cessential workers.\u201d While we may have continued to work, the nature of our work has certainly changed. We have faced travel challenges, disruptions in supply chains that have affected how we deliver our services and products, and we have negotiated new ways to manage our lives and personal and professional relationships. While we might like to forget the problems of 2020, that would be a mistake. Instead, we need to sort through the challenges the year presented and take time to record accomplishments.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
