LOWELL, Mass. \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>TRC, a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, consulting and construction management solutions fueled by innovative technology, has been awarded a pair of contracts from Midship Pipeline Company LLC for the Midship Pipeline Project in Oklahoma \u2013 one for environmental consulting, engineering and field services and the other a stem-to-stern Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) contract for three compressor stations.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe are excited to partner with the Midship Pipeline Company on this important project,\u201d said Ed Wiegele, president of TRC\u2019s Oil and Gas Sector. \u201cBy providing integrated services throughout the lifecycle of the project, we will streamline the work and help minimize risk.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The\u00a0Midship Pipeline Project<\/a>\u00a0consists of a new 36-inch mainline natural gas pipeline that stretches 199 miles through Oklahoma. TRC will perform engineering, mapping, civil surveying, environmental and right-of-way services on that portion of the project. Three mainline compressor stations, two lateral pipelines, a booster station and associated facilities will also be built.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

The project, which recently received its Certificate Order from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, is scheduled to be put into service next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cMidship is a great project and we\u2019re pleased to have TRC working on it,\u201d said Jim Privett, Vice President of Project Management for Midship Pipeline Company. \u201cThis pipeline will deliver an enormous economic boost to the state of Oklahoma \u2013 during the design and construction phase and when it\u2019s in operation, providing a valuable natural resource with a safe, efficient and economical path to the marketplace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sunland Construction will serve as construction contractor on the compressor stations.<\/p>\n

\u201cSunland is looking forward to teaming up with TRC on this important project,\u201d said Craig Meier, President of Major Projects for Sunland.<\/p>\n

Once completed, the Midship Pipeline will have the capacity to bring 1.44 million dekatherms of natural gas per day from the Anadarko Basin in Oklahoma to the growing Gulf Coast and Southeast markets.<\/p>\n
